The Business Board

Convener: Dr. Donald Watts

This Board is responsible for organising the business programme of each meeting and session of The General Assembly. It sees that items are in proper form and approves the order of business. In addition it may give permission to speak to persons who are not members of Assembly.

The Board is responsible for submitting nominations for all positions on the various Boards and Commissions, and nominations for delegates appointed to other Church Assemblies. It also advises on matters affecting elder's commissions.

The Arrangements Committee
This committee looks after the physical arrangements of hosting the Assembly. Its job is to organise everything from stewarding to time-keeping to official receptions - anything to assist in the smooth running of the daily meetings.
