A Kirk Session Away Day is simply what the name suggests. It is a day or part of a day (or a weekend!) when a Kirk Session travels to a venue away from the congregation to spend time together addressing issues of relevance.

Away Days work equally well for congregational leadership teams (including leaders from Sunday School, Choir, Youth organisations, Presbyterian Women, etc.); congregational staff teams, or even Presbyteries.
