The 2017 General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland will meet in Belfast from Monday evening, 5th June and close on Friday, 9th June.

In this section you can download (see downloads box) the 2017 Blue Book and individual reports in PDF format, which have been printed and circulated to members. The reports and corresponding resolutions will be discussed and debated during the course of the week.

Additional reports and resolutions written since the Annual Reports went to press will be published in Supplementary Reports. These will be uploaded when they are published.

Attended by approximately 1,000 ministers and elders from the Church’s 500-plus congregations across Ireland, on the Monday evening the General Assembly will formally nominate and install Rev. Dr. Noble McNeely of First Holywood Presbyterian Church as Moderator of the General Assembly for 2017/2018.

When business commences on Tuesday there then follows three and a half days of worship, prayer, Bible study, celebration, debate and decision-making, where decisions taken will set the direction for the life and ministry of the Church.
