Summer Teams

Summer Teams
Location: Across Ireland
Every summer Youth and Children’s Ministry partners with congregations from across Ireland, to help support them in mission amongst their local community. These teams provide a wonderful opportunity for young people aged 16 and over to get involved in serving outside of their normal context, gain valuable experience in personal evangelism and grow in their own walk with Jesus.

The vision for each team is that it does itself out of a job after an initial period of three years. After this time our hope and prayer is that the local congregation will have been encouraged, trained and resourced to be able to carry out the on-going work of mission for themselves. This is not always easy as many congregations lack people who are willing and able to take the work forward so wisdom is needed to know how best to partner with them.

If you are a Congregation wishing to avail of a Summer Team in 2016 download the Application Form and apply by 30th September 2015. (Notes to the Application form can be downloaded here.)

Completed forms should be sent to the CCLW Department, Assembly Buildings, BT1 6DW.
