CCAPSO is an organisation which is Biblically based, reformed and evangelical. Its aims are to help Presbyterian students to worship God with their whole lives.
CCAPSO is having a tremendous impact with hundreds of young people being converted, dozens being called into the ministry of the CCAP or to student or mission work, prayer meetings and youth groups being started in congregations where there were none.
PCI's Rev. John Hanson, served with his family in Malawi under Presbyterian Mission Overseas from 1999 until 2007.
The idea of building CCAPSO House was born in 2007 and the house building project was a joint venture between Rev. Hanson through PCI raising funds for materials, and Blantyre Synod providing the labour. The house was completed in early 2011 and later occupied by an Australian missionary family.
The house is rented out producing regular income for the organisation and making it financially self-sufficient so that the organisation is not hampered by a lack of funds.
