The Shepherd Society is a ministry of the Bethlehem Bible College to the poor in Bethlehem. It began in 1996 when unemployment was high, the political situation was difficult and mothers would stop at the college seeking help to buy milk for their children.
In the past 20 years the society has provided help to 5,500 families or 26,000 individuals. It has also engaged in job creation, loans for business, and other kinds of assistance.
On 23 March 2016 the Shepherd Society received an award from the Governor of Bethlehem for providing the most support to needy Christian and Muslim families in the district.
All donations (large or small) to this project, will be greatly appreciated.
