Children, Youth and Family

As a multi-generational denomination, we believe that there is a place for all generations in our church family. Children’s and youth ministry is an integral part of our DNA, a place where our pre-schoolers to those just leaving school and starting work, or university, are loved, valued and cherished.

Equipping congregations to support and nurture their children and young people, providing opportunities to hear the Gospel and increasingly understand it, to personally respond to the call to follow Jesus and learn to live out their faith in their daily lives is crucially important. Equally important bringing the gospel to families, children and young people outside the Church.

Responsibility for envisioning and equipping congregations for work among children and young people in contemporary Irish context falls to the Council for Congregational Life and Witness. In this section you will find information on youth and children's ministry, news and resources, training, events and opportunites to serve.
